John Thompson
Owner, operator and all-around nice guy!
A third-generation electrician, John Thompson followed in the career path of his grandfather and father, apprenticing then working his way up to become Master Electrician and owner of Thompson Electric in 2008. As the leader of Thompson Electric, John provides excellent customer service and follow-up and believes in outstanding workmanship for a fair price.
Outside of work, John is very involved in community service as a volunteer fire fighter, an active member of the Ontario Electric League and is a committed father and husband.
Christina Thompson
Owner and wife of John Thompson
Christina handles the day-to- day office work, communications, and marketing for Thompson Electric. If you call the office, she most likely will be your first contact.
Christina enjoys additional casual work as a CSA for the SD&G County Library and takes an active role in community service in her involvement with the local Legion and Library events.
Jason Catelier
Licensed Electrician
Jason Catelier joined the Thompson Electric team as licensed electrician 2014. Jason’s friendly personality, along with his confident and conscientious work style are appreciated both by customers and co-workers. As a young father of twins, Jason is a dedicated family man, is a member of the local Legion and has an active interest in local sports.
John VanDerVeen
Long-time Thompson Electric Team Player
Friendly and approachable, long-time Thompson Electric team player John VanDerVeen is a dedicated and valued employee whose knowledge and expertise is a great asset to the company and to the customers he serves. John takes an active interest in his community through his involvement in the Chesterville Legion and as a member of the local Fire Dept.
Evan Thompson
First-Year Apprentice
Our newest employee, Evan Thompson began his journey as a Co-Op Student with us during the Fall of 2016 and has since joined us as a first year apprentice. Evan who is joining the ranks of the Thompson Family of Electricians is nephew to Owner John Thompson. We warmly welcome Evan to our team!
